We will not be liable for garment replacements as per our terms of service below.
if the following conditions are not met:
We always request that you do a test press first, before printing multiple garments.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the rules for using our website (the “Website”) and buying our products from the Website. By using the Website and/or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or place an order.
1) Who we sell to (B2B and B2C)
We sell to:
• Businesses (B2B); and
• Consumers (B2C) (individual customers buying for personal use).
Some clauses apply differently depending on whether you are a consumer or a business. Where we say “Consumer” we mean a customer acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Where we say “Business” we mean a customer acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession.
2) Our products (custom-made DTF transfers)
1. We supply custom-made products, typically DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers produced using the artwork you upload.
2. Our products are not off-the-shelf and are made to your specifications (e.g., your artwork, sizing, layout choices, quantities).
3) Your artwork and “self-approval” responsibility
Because you upload your own artwork and approve it yourself, you are responsible for ensuring everything is correct before ordering.
1. What “approval” means: by submitting your order (and/or completing checkout), you confirm that your uploaded artwork and order selections are final and approved for production.
2. You are responsible for checking (including but not limited to):
• spelling, punctuation and wording;
• sizes, dimensions, and placement;
• colours (including colour profiles and on-screen vs printed colour differences);
• transparency/backgrounds;
• resolution/quality;
• orientation and alignment;
• that you uploaded the correct file/version.
3. We are not responsible for issues caused by:
• low-resolution or unsuitable files;
• incorrect sizing requested/selected by you;
• errors present in the file you uploaded;
• colour differences arising from screen calibration, file profiles, or normal print process tolerances.
4. We do not provide design services unless explicitly agreed in writing.
4) Intellectual property (IP) and permission to print
1. You confirm that you own the artwork you upload or have permission/licences to use and reproduce it (including printing it onto transfers).
2. You must not upload or request printing of any content that infringes third-party rights (e.g., logos, characters, brands, sports teams, celebrities) without permission.
3. You grant us a limited licence to use your artwork only as needed to:
• produce your order;
• provide customer support relating to your order; and
• keep production and fulfilment records.
4. You agree you are responsible for any claims or losses arising from your breach of this section (and where you are a Business customer, you agree to indemnify us for such claims to the fullest extent permitted by law).
5) Prohibited content
You must not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate. We may refuse or cancel any order that we reasonably believe breaches this section.
6) Orders and contract formation
1. Website listings and prices are an invitation to purchase, not a binding offer.
2. A legally binding contract is formed when we accept your order (typically when we confirm it and/or when production begins/your order is dispatched).
3. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if:
• payment is not received or is reversed;
• the uploaded artwork appears to infringe rights or breaches these Terms;
• we identify an error in pricing or product information;
• we suspect fraud or misuse.
7) Pricing, payment, and VAT
1. Prices are shown in GBP ex vat and are as stated at checkout.
8) Production times and dispatch
1. Any production or dispatch times shown on the Website are estimates unless we explicitly agree a guaranteed deadline in writing.
2. Delays can occur due to high order volume, equipment issues, supply constraints, or courier delays. We will aim to keep you informed where reasonably possible.
9) Delivery (UK only), risk, and title
1. We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only.
2. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
3. Risk (loss/damage):
• For Consumers: risk passes when the Products are delivered to you (or to someone you nominate).
• For Businesses: risk passes on delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Title (ownership): ownership of the Products passes to you once we have received payment in full.
10) Custom-made products: cancellations and change-of-mind returns
1. Because our Products are custom-made to your specifications, you do not have an automatic right to cancel for a change of mind once production has started, and the usual 14-day cooling-off rights generally do not apply to personalised/custom goods (under the Consumer Contracts Regulations).
2. If you contact us quickly after ordering, we may be able to cancel only if production has not started, but this is not guaranteed.
11) Refunds, replacements, and your Refund Policy page
1. For detailed information on refunds/returns processes, please refer to the Refund Policy section/page on our Website, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Nothing in our Refund Policy or these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for Consumers).
12) Problems with an order (misprints, defects, transit damage)
1. If you believe your order is faulty, incorrect, or damaged:
• contact us at admin@dtfprintonline.co.uk with your order number and clear photos.
2. Suggested notification timelines (to support fast investigation):
• Transit damage: notify us within 48 hours of delivery (include packaging photos).
• Print/order issues: notify us within 7 days of delivery.
3. If the issue is due to our error (e.g., we printed the wrong file compared to what you approved/ordered, or there is a manufacturing defect), we will, as appropriate:
• reprint and resend; or
• offer a refund (in whole or in part);
in line with applicable consumer law and our Refund Policy process.
4. We do not accept responsibility for problems caused by:
• your artwork/file quality or mistakes in your uploaded file;
• your selection errors (e.g., wrong size chosen);
• incorrect storage, handling, pressing/application, or use.
13) Application of DTF transfers (important disclaimer)
1. DTF transfers require correct application (heat press temperature, pressure, and dwell time) and suitable garments/materials.
2. Results can vary due to operator technique, equipment calibration, garment composition, and wash/care methods.
3. Unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing, we are not responsible for:
• application/pressing errors;
• garment damage during pressing;
• issues arising from unsuitable fabrics or special garment finishes.
We will not be liable for garment replacements as per our terms of service below.
if the following conditions are not met:
We always request that you do a test press first, before printing multiple garments.
14) Website acceptable use
You must not misuse the Website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, introduce malware, disrupt service, or scrape content unlawfully. We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe there is misuse.
15) Privacy and cookies
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (available on the Website). These explain how we collect and use personal data.
16) Limitation of liability
1. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
2. Consumers: we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us.
3. Businesses: to the fullest extent permitted by law:
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings; and
• our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for the affected Products.
17) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• If you are a Consumer, you may have the benefit of mandatory protections in the laws of your country of residence (if applicable).
• Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
18) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that order. Updated versions will be posted on the Website with a new effective date.
